Woodcarving Courses Brisbane

John the Wood is hosting woodcarving courses in Brisbane, Australia.

Design and carve your own woodcarving in a fun and creative 2 day woodcarving course with John The Wood. You will learn design techniques, how to safely use and maintain carving chisels, finishing methods and be provided with information about suitable timbers, tools and suppliers.

Limited spaces so booking is essential.

Venue:

All courses will be held at the Redlands Indigiscapes Centre (Tallowwood Room), Capalaba - a lovely venue to enjoy learning and advancing your woodcarving skills, surrounded by beautiful bush land, in the comfort of air-conditioning, if required!

Course times:

Start - 10am (please arrive at 9.45am on the Saturday to register)
Finish - 4pm

Bring your lunch, morning and afternoon tea will be provided.

Cost:

$300, with a $150 deposit to book your place. Small pieces of timber are available at cost price - please discuss your project with John prior to booking, so the appropriate size can be provided. Tools are available on loan for the duration of the course.
